Welcome to FONS images! Great that you pay us a visit. Make yourself comfortable and take your time to stroll through my portfolio or to read about the story of FONS.It all started on the crossroad of two passions: photography and cycling. Exploring Belgium and some of Europe’s most beautiful regions by bike with a camera on my back and documenting my adventures on social media, have over the years sparked the interest of a number of brands and organizations to collaborate. Also my personal enthusiasm to invest more time and resources in making images, not just for private purposes, has been increasing ever since. In the summer of 2022, the time felt right to turn a hobby into a part-time profession. Enter FONS images, named after my late best friend, Fons the beagle.As a self-taught photographer, I like to ride the less beaten tracks –literally and figuratively– and capture the subject of my image in its natural habitat, with minimum manipulation and maximum spontaneity, as real as possible. Unsurprisingly, as evidenced by the many hundreds of images I have shot on the bike and while hiking, the outdoors will always be my favorite environment to work in. I do love an imaging challenge in every type of setting, though, and I continuously and curiously broaden my photographic horizons.Does your view on image making match mine?
